The New York State Chief Information Officer/Office for Technology, Empire State Development and the NYS Division of Minority and Women Business Development (MWBD) have teamed together to present the first-annual Technology Sector MWBE Jumpstart Event.

This half-day comprehensive event is designed to create an opportunity for minority- and women-owned technology solution providers to connect with key technology companies serving New York State. In addition, Empire State Development and the New York State Division of Minority and Women Business Development will provide workshops on "How to Become New York State Certified Minority and/ or Women Owned Business" and "Effective Ways to land State Contracts through Procurement Opportunities". New York's major technology vendors will have the opportunity to meet companies that can help meet supplier diversity goals established by the State.
