The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Information Technology Service (HITS) contract requires EDS to provide nationwide, enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure services to assist HUD in meeting its strategic objectives and responsibilities.

HITS is a performance-based contract for a nationwide IT infrastructure and telecommunications service. EDS will provide end-to-end IT services to approximately 18,000 HUD users in over 80 locations throughout the United States and its territories. The services include enterprise-wide data processing and management from mainframe down to the desktop, information security, technology refresh, help desk, user support, disaster recovery, printing and distribution, local-area network (LAN) and wide-area network (WAN) services, wireless, TV/video conferencing, Web administration, and other IT services. HITS replaces the HIIPS contract performed by Lockheed Martin since 1990.

Currently, EDS has its core team of small and large businesses in place. The purpose of this site is to capture additional small business with the capabilities and skill sets that our core team is unable to fulfill.

  4. Terms. EDS will have access to your information as new business opportunities arise. We will search for companies who have skill sets to match HUD's requirements.
